PowerPac was used in Everett Smith & Co’s office daily, that was until we had the program installed on all our site Supervisors laptops and PC’s on all our projects.
It has proved so fast and so accurate in the calculation of current carrying capacity and volt drop in cables, that our site Supervisors have insisted it be made available to them on site.
In the office it is used regularly in design, costing and verification, but on site it simply saves time, money and prevents mistakes.
There’s nothing wrong with doing your calculations by hand, providing you have the time, and these days with business the way it is, we don't have the time!

I have been using Espro for 7 years and have found it to be an extremely easy and adaptable estimating tool. The sub-assemblies save huge amounts of time when pricing large projects. Once the estimate is complete, it is simple to adjust margins and hourly rates to achieve the desired submission price. I find updating the material database a simply task along with the function to export reports in Excel format. The support team at Spearhead Software are always helpful and available to resolve any issues whether they be large or small. I wouldn't consider attempting to price any project using anything other than Espro.

PowerPac is an indispensable tool when it comes to ensuring accurate calculations from AS3000 and AS3008. We have been using PowerPac for over 10 years for doing Maximum Demand, Cable Sizing and Voltage Drop and have saved hours and hours of tedious manual calculations.

I have been with Elecraft since 1995 and been using ESPRO ever since. There have been many changes in the software over the years with the latest version the most user friendly.
We have always found ESPRO easy to use. Easy to be introduced to new personnel (we have up to 4 apprentices coming through estimating each year) who pick it up straight away.
The Sub Assemblies also make life easier, along with Labor Rates, Material & Margins that can be adjusted on the whole project. I also believe that even further adjustments are in progress at the moment.
Support from the Spearhead team has also been fantastic over the years. I have no hesitation to recommend ESPRO to anyone in the Electrical Contracting business.
