PowerPac 5.5 has been released to incorporate the changes to earth and neutral cable size requirements introduced in AS3000:2007. This update of the PowerPac5 software will allow users to calculate results that are compliant with this new standard and also enable them to open previously entered and saved calculation data that were calculated using the older AS3000:2000 and recalculate the data in accordance with the 2007 revision of the standard.
I have been with Elecraft since 1995 and been using ESPRO ever since. There have been many changes in the software over the years with the latest version the most user friendly.
We have always found ESPRO easy to use. Easy to be introduced to new personnel (we have up to 4 apprentices coming through estimating each year) who pick it up straight away.
The Sub Assemblies also make life easier, along with Labor Rates, Material & Margins that can be adjusted on the whole project. I also believe that even further adjustments are in progress at the moment.
