With the recent release of AS3008.1.1:2009 for Australian conditions Spearhead are busily working releasing version 6. The expected release date will be late December. Information and upgrade forms will be soon be sent out to all users giving you the chance of getting your order in early.
I have been using Espro for 7 years and have found it to be an extremely easy and adaptable estimating tool. The sub-assemblies save huge amounts of time when pricing large projects. Once the estimate is complete, it is simple to adjust margins and hourly rates to achieve the desired submission price. I find updating the material database a simply task along with the function to export reports in Excel format. The support team at Spearhead Software are always helpful and available to resolve any issues whether they be large or small. I wouldn't consider attempting to price any project using anything other than Espro.
