AS3000:2007 Release

AS3000:2007 was released in November 2007. As part of our ongoing development of the PowerPac software, this revision will be incorporated into our PowerPac software. This revision will affect the PowerPac software in the areas of earth and neutral sizing.

Version 5.5 of the PowerPac software will soon be released incorporating these changes and we are currently awaiting some clarificaion from AS3000 before releasing this version.

This updated version of the software will be made available free of charge to users of PowerPac that purchased their software after August 1, 2007 and those who had a software maintenance agreement current as of that date.

I have been using Espro for 7 years and have found it to be an extremely easy and adaptable estimating tool. The sub-assemblies save huge amounts of time when pricing large projects. Once the estimate is complete, it is simple to adjust margins and hourly rates to achieve the desired submission price. I find updating the material database a simply task along with the function to export reports in Excel format. The support team at Spearhead Software are always helpful and available to resolve any issues whether they be large or small. I wouldn't consider attempting to price any project using anything other than Espro.
