PowerPac and Espro have both now been updated to work on PC's running 64 bit versions of Windows. Both of these software packages should now work correctly on ALL versions of the Windows Vista operating system as well as Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server.
PowerPac was used in Everett Smith & Co’s office daily, that was until we had the program installed on all our site Supervisors laptops and PC’s on all our projects.
It has proved so fast and so accurate in the calculation of current carrying capacity and volt drop in cables, that our site Supervisors have insisted it be made available to them on site.
In the office it is used regularly in design, costing and verification, but on site it simply saves time, money and prevents mistakes.
