- 1How do I authorise my software? Top
-
When you run your software, select Tools | Licence from the main menu to display the Software Licence Window
To authorise your software, email or fax (08 9390 8911) your site code to us providing your company name and contact details. Please tell us if you are running the software from a network server and if so the number of current software licenses you wish to allow with this authorisation.
Once the site code has been received we will return the necessary unlock Key. Enter this Key into the appropriate box on the software authorisation window and click on the authorise button.
The returned Site Code and Site Key are made up of numbers and the letters A-F. You may enter the letters as either upper or lower case. Please note the all 'O' - are the number zero and not the letter.
- 2Why is my site key reported as being an incorrect length? Top
-
This error message usually indicates that you have entered the site key incorrectly.
1) Make sure that you have entered the number zero and not the letter 'O' or misread the number 8 and the letter B.
2) The spaces after every fourth letter/number are not required however they do make it easier to confirm the code you have entered.
3) The letters can be entered as either upper or lower case.

There are a number of reasons that the Software Authorisation window is displayed. This does not always mean that you require a new authorisation code.
Contact Technical Support with the error code displayed so we can determine the necessary solution.
If the software will not run at all then please provide us with any error messages displayed.
If the software does start but reports as being Unauthorised, select Tools | Licence from the main menu to display the software licence window. The status box will show the software as "Unauthorised" and will also consist of two numbers contained within parentheses, i.e.: (8, -102). When contacting support please supply these two numbers so we can determine the necessary solution or possible cause of your licencing problem.
